I graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy (now called the Cortiva Institute) in 2011. My focus is a blend of holistic and therapeutic massage that includes techniques of Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, energy work, lymphatic drainage, IASTM, and myofascial cupping.
I decided to become a massage therapist in 2009. I was in my early 20's trying to figure out what to do with my life, and I was working at a job I absolutely hated. It was 12 hour overnight shifts of work that ranged from stressful to just plain dangerous. Massage had always been something I'd thought about but never very seriously, until that is, I got about a year into this job and all I could think was, "I want to do the exact opposite of this mess!"
But also, I kept thinking about the people I worked with, and all the other people who have horribly stressful jobs, and horribly stressful lives, and I wanted to help. I enrolled in CCMT's part time massage program in July of 2009, started a month later, graduated in 2011, quit that job the second I could, and I've never looked back.
Since then I've worked for Massage Envy for the majority of my career alongside a private office I helped set up, a holistic center, a chiropractic office, and now finally I'm working for myself with two amazing friends and colleagues.
I love what I do. I can't imagine doing anything else, and if I can help you get rid of your stress, or your pain, or just help you get away from everything for an hour, it would be my absolute joy to do so.

This is a completely customizable massage therapy session, everything can be adjusted according to your preferences including depth of pressure and focus areas. Whether you'd prefer a general full body session, specific deep tissue work, or any combination, everything can be adapted to what you need.
This is a focused session on specific areas of your choosing using a combination of massage therapy and myofascial cupping. Usually this is an upper body session, mostly focusing on the back, neck, and arms, but it can be done anywhere you're holding pain and tension.
Myofascial cupping is different from traditional cupping therapy in that the cups are moved over the skin in a gliding motion, which has the effect of stretching the fascia and really loosening up those deeper layers of tension.
An energy work session combining Reiki, guided imagery, and breathing techniques to promote healing, stress relief, and deep wellness. This session can be focused on something specific that's bothering you, whether physically, emotionally, spiritually, or anything else; or it can be a general session working through the chakras and energy body.
